A coronavirus is a type of virus that is found in animals and birds. It is rarely transmitted from animals to humans and affects the respiratory tract of the affected individuals. The coronavirus can cause illness such as common cold, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome. The life duration of the virus is only about 12 hours. During the life duration, when the affected individual makes contact with the nearby person, it will spread to another person. So the affected individual should maintain the distance from another normal person.

Scientists cannot easily identify the human coronavirus in the laboratory, unlike the rhinovirus which is cause for the common cold. - Drinking enough amount of water
- The person should avoid smoking and should not go for smoky areas.
- The person should not go to crowded areas like malls, theaters, buses, trains and so on.
- Resting and avoiding overexertion should be done by the person.
How to Protect from Coronavirus?
Currently, doctors and scientists have not found any vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent coronavirus illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. The person should maintain at least 6 feet distance. This is because the virus is thought to spread from person to person between people who are in close contact within 6 feet distance. It is spread through the respiratory droplets that are produced when an infected person coughs and sneezes. The droplets may be landed in the mouth or nose of the nearby people.
Clean Your Hands FrequentlyÂ
Wash your hands with soap or hand sanitizer for at least 20 seconds especially when you have come out from any public places or after blowing your nose, cough, and sneezing. The sanitizer that is used for cleaning your hands should contain at least 60 percent alcohol content. You have to cover the surface of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. It is necessary to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. This is because; the chance of inhaling the virus is high.
Avoid Close Contact
You have to avoid close contact with the person who is falling for coronavirus. This is one of the needed precautions that have to be taken for persons who have less immunity power. The less immune person can easily affect the COVID-19. You have to stay at home when you fall sick. In the hospitals, the affected person is isolated from normal persons and they are provided with the treatment.
You have to cover your mouth and nose when you are sneezing and coughing. Once after you sneeze, you have to throw the used tissues into the trash. And you have to immediately wash your hands with sanitizer that contains 60 percent of alcohol content.
Wear a Face Mask
If you are found with the coronavirus, you have to wear the facemask when you are around the other people and before you enter the hospitals or any public places. And the people, who are caring for your health, should wear a face mask when they enter your room. You should change your face masks often. You need not wear a face mask when you are not falling for the virus. Make sure that your surroundings are clean and disinfect. Avoid unnecessary touches in doors, tables, toilets, and sinks.
