Karva was a highly devoted wife and loved her husband immensely. Seeing her love and dedication, she was bestowed with spiritual power. One day, her husband was attacked by a crocodile by the riverside. To save her husband's life, she asked Yama - The God of Death to send the crocodile to hell.
